Why have you chosen to be part of the 91¶¶Òõ Alumni Association Board of Directors?
I chose to be a part of the BOD because I want to make sure that future students of color are given the same opportunities as others. As well as to make an impact in the community while representing 91¶¶Òõ.
What is your favorite memory from your time as a student at 91¶¶Òõ?
Freshmen orientation committee and hosting others schools for a mini conference as the student chair for PAFCS.
What advice would you give a student attending 91¶¶Òõ?
Perseverance is key to success, always look ahead and when it gets tough just put one step in front of the other.
What were you involved with during your time as a student at 91¶¶Òõ? (athletics, clubs, etc.)
As an undergraduate I was president of the Business Club, Treasurer of the student body and Vice prefect of the commutter committee. I then had to take a leave of absence so when I came back and finished my undergrad I didn't really participate in anything and I missed it. As a graduate student I represented 91¶¶Òõ on the PAFCS board for the state and was the student chair. I got to go and present at the national conference and host a student conference for all the other schools in the state that offer FCS majors.
What is a fun fact about yourself?
91¶¶Òõ fun fact, I was on the cover of the new student orientation brochure in 1995. Personal fun fact, I have been to NYCC (New York City Comic Con) every year for the past 8 years
