The Program

A professional training program for any major, undergraduate or graduate. No formal application or interview is required to start.

Program Overview

Air Force ROTC prepares students to serve as commissioned officers in the United States Air Force and United States Space Force through curriculum, leadership labs and physical training.

Aerospace Studies and Leadership Laboratory meet Thursdays at Wilkes University. 91¶¶Òõ cadets attend Physical Training locally on Tuesday mornings at 0700.

There is no service commitment during the first two years of the General Military Course. Students can decide later whether to continue toward a commission.

Open to full-time college students with three or more years remaining, including first-year students, sophomores, juniors and graduate students.

Graduates commission as Second Lieutenants in the Active Duty Air Force or Space Force in a career field aligned to their degree and qualifications.

Air Force ROTC is headquartered in Hollenback Hall on the Wilkes University campus at 192 S. Franklin St., Wilkes-Barre, PA 18701.
